Tahoma Rubber & Plastics Announces Leadership Appointments

BARBERTON, Ohio — Tahoma Rubber and Plastics announces the following leadership appointments designed to strengthen the team for future growth and efficiency.

Martin Kraus has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for the manufacturing operations of the company.

Kraus has extensive rubber industry experience having spent the past 18 years at Preferred Compounding/Hexpol. Mr. Kraus advanced at the company and has been the Barberton plant manager for the last five years. Prior to that Kraus was at Bedell-Kraus.

Chuck Daugherty has been named Director of Business Development and Materials Applications. In this role Chuck is responsible for developing new applications, solving customer technical problems, and working with tire manufacturers on solutions to their production.

Daugherty has been with Tahoma Rubber and Plastics for 35 years. He is an industry expert in materials, applications, and processes.

Madison Groner has joined the company as Assistant Manager of Human Resources.

Groner has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from Youngstown State University and a law degree from the University of Akron. She has prior experience at GBS Corporation and Cintas Corporation.

Tahoma Rubber and Plastics serves the tire and rubber industry by recycling and reprocessing uncured rubber compounds, fibers and poly film.  Manufacturing plants are located in Barberton, Ohio and Abbeville, South Carolina.
